Testimonials

I have just watched the video that you produced for my grandmother, Pauline Palmer.  We originally showed it at her 91st birthday celebration.  My family was overwhelmed and thankful that you were able to capture so well her spirit, thoughts and the stories that made up her life. Your professional and compassionate demeanor allowed her to open up and express sentiments that we will always treasure and might not have known.

We also enjoyed the great pictures of Grandma Polly that you chose for the cover. You made her feel like a star.  Your talent in editing together the many varied stories with just the right music kept the video flowing and entertaining.

We feel fortunate to have this special part of our family history preserved in such a professionally prepared video that we can share with many generations.

Jean Yglesias delivered two wonderful films that we commissioned for the International Law Section of the Florida Bar. She crafted a short film highlighting our past Chairs and a longer film to chronicle the history and founding of our section. Both films were very well received.

Jean interviewed thirty-one of our members for the projects and all of the members were thrilled with her professionalism. All of them said she made the experience both relaxing and enjoyable. Jean’s ability to engage people and illicit interesting stories made for a compelling narrative about why we practice law and how we became a section of the Bar.

The production values were top notch and the entire project was handled professionally and flawlessly. Jean is a talented filmmaker and I would recommend her highly for any project for which she is commissioned.

I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled my family is with the video of my mom, aka "Grandma Rose".  It was truly touching to see three generations - my mom, her children and her grandchildren - all laughing and crying together as we watched. We had never heard my mom tell the story of meeting my father at the dance - and to hear it in her voice and see the sparkle in her eyes, is a gift I will always treasure!  We showed the video at her 85th Birthday Party and all her friends loved it ... and many have asked to come watch it again!

This is one of those things I kept saying I wanted to do, but kept putting off ... and then we almost lost mom last fall.  And I still wasn't certain if she would relax and really talk about things, but you made her so comfortable that she thoroughly enjoyed herself and was downright chatty! There are very few things in life that I don't second guess myself on, and this is one of them. The video is priceless and irreplaceable… and I can't thank you enough...I only wish I had done this years ago with my dad!  Thanks again, Jean.
